Aldershot (MOD) 50m pool Training Sessions.
There are further training sessions up and coming from September.

Training sessions
Stanley Pool (Louisa Centre)
Our swimmers seem to enjoy this venue because of the facilities and
atmosphere at the centre. The staff are very helpful and professional in their
attitude towards us.
We have training on occasional Sundays there, in July, to refine skills
which we can't practice at Chester-le-Street, see our 'Training' page.
Dutch Open Championships, Eindhoven. June 19th / 20th
Four Swims, Three Personal Bests was the result for John Lavender at this
event.
He swam
50m Surface: 0:32.95" - Personal Best
50m Apnea : 0:30.48" - Personal Best
100m Surface: 01:17.83" - Personal Best
100m Immersion: DISQ - Part of his body broke the pool surface during the
race.
Swimmer of the Month - April
Sofija Berezevskaja won this award for her excellent performances at the
Genk competition.
She was presented with her prize and certificate on June 27th at Stanley.
British Junior at World Junior Championships
Congratulations to Cassandra Graikowski Hainsworth, who competed for
Great Britain at the 11th World Junior Finswimming Championships in
Palma, Mallorca, Spain. She set some great times:
100 m Surface – 00:50.54"
400 m Surface – 04:02.55"
50 m Apnea – 00:20.31"
Well done! Her 50 m Apnea time is the highest placing by a British female
finswimmer ever. Her 400 m time is also a new British Record!
We sent her some equipment, but she still needs help in the form of
sponsorship to help pay for the trip!
